Dec. 2005 letter
Dear Friends,
This is our last official update for 2005. Right now it is 8:42 PM
Saturday the 31st, and we are packing for Lajas. We plan to head out
there for a bit over a week as a family. We want to thank each one of
you for your involvement in our lives. We receive so many emails from
many of you, and it is a great encouragement to us. We know many of
you pray for us daily and for the needs of the work. We also know that
many of you have been keenly following the work right from the
beginning. We are looking forward to an exciting 2006 and are trusting
the Lord to finally be able to move into Lajas full-time. You know it
as been a long haul to get to this point. The Tepehuan are still
without the Gospel and we long for the day they get to hear and accept
the Gospel. 2005 has been a big year with many ups and downs, but
praise the Lord, we have still made allot of progress in Lajas. In the
end Jesus gets all the glory and honour, and His name is worthy of all
praise. Take time to praise Him this 2006 New Year's celebration. He
is Lord of heaven and earth.
As always we would appreciate your prayers for our time out in Lajas.
Again we will be working on the house, but also trying to move ahead
in language study and in relationship building.
